LADY-J: EMPOWERING WOMEN BY CELEBRATING THE BEAUTY OF MUSIC

The first talent designed to support the DJs of tomorrow lands at WHITE Village – June 15-17, 2024.
Lady-J believes in the beauty of music and wants to support women seeking their way in this industry. How? By pairing them with professionals who can guide them to a successful career.

WHITE will have the honor of listening to some live music by three of the future mentors and partners of the Lady-J project, established artists on the Italian music scene: Chiara Giorgianni will entertain exhibitors and visitors during the lunch break, while Jeanine Facco and Valerie Fox will make us dance during the evening events on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th.

LOOKING BACK BY EAST MARKET

From February 22nd to 25th the Visconti Pavilion hosted Looking Back, an event produced in collaboration with East Market, Milan’s first vintage market claiming “everything old is new again”.

Inside Looking Back the over 6000 visitors could find a selection of sought-after vintage clothing and accessories, items of the finest craftsmanship, rare vinyl records, colorful furnishings and much more.

A great opportunity to discover East Market’s fine selection of exhibitors, browse the booths, purchase exclusive pieces, relax in the lounge areas, taste snacks, cocktails and beer from BioQitchen, and dance with our DJs.

A unique WHITE VIllage experience!

WEAVING THE FUTURE: BETWEEN INNOVATION AND NEW MARKET HORIZONS

The meeting, organized in collaboration with TIG Events and moderated by Pepe Moder, aimed at being an opportunity to stimulate constructive dialogue on four main topics, selected for their relevance and topicality in the global textile landscape, a field that is constantly evolving.

The textile market: we explored the strategies that companies in the sector are putting into practice to respond to the new challenges of the global market.

The international partnerships: business development opportunities were presented with a focus on designers and emerging markets.

Ethical and social sustainability in textile production: a topic of growing importance given the greater awareness of consumers. The opportunities and challenges associated with adopting sustainable practices were discussed, as well as their impact on the market and brand perception.

Innovation in manufacturing: cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, IoT (Internet of Things) and manufacturing as a service represent the frontier of innovation in the textile sector and are redefining the ways in which textile products are produced, distributed and consumed.

THE COUTURE CODE

The schedule of the September 2023 edition, titled “The Couture Code. The Impact of Artificial Intelligence on the Fashion Industry,” saw the authoritative protagonists confront each other in keynote speeches, panel discussions and interviews on topics related to sustainability, innovation, Web 3.0 and artificial intelligence applied to the fashion universe, with a particular focus on the textile industry.

REGENERATIVE FUTURE BY ALBINI GROUP

Regenerative Future by Albini Group was one of the protagonists at the September 2023 VILLAGE edition.

The group’s CEO, Fabio Tamburini, took part in the panel program at the Mudec Auditorium bringing his expertise on the topic of the revolution that artificial intelligence is initiating in the textile industry. A networking event with cocktails and DJ sets was then held inside the WHITE Garden where, thanks to physical and multimedia installations, Regenerative Biofusion®, the first organic, traceable and regenerative cotton developed by the company, was presented.

INSULA SARDINIA QUALITY WORLD

On the second evening of September ’23, WHITE Village presented the event dedicated to Insula Sardinia Quality World – A Journey to Discover a World Called Sardinia to take guests on an experiential journey to discover the colors, culture, handicrafts and flavors of the agri-food productions of the Region of Sardinia.

Making the evening unique was the performance dedicated to the presentation of Sardinian craftsmanship excellence, created thanks to the artistic direction of Paolo Bazzani and the collaboration of stylist Mario Cattaldi.

FASHION SHOWS

M.Seventy has organized exclusive fashion shows and events in historic and unusual locations in Milan over the years. Not only the Tortona Fashion District and its unique locations, but also the Yellow line of the subway, Sala delle Cariatidi of the Royal Palace, Piazza del Duomo, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Castello Sforzesco, Palazzo Serbelloni, Pinacoteca di Brera, Chiostro del Bramante and many others.

FASHION EVENTS

Designers from all over the world have relied on M.Seventy’s expertise to carry out shoots, campaigns and covers in major international magazines, in-store events and pop-ups in the most important Italian stores.

These activities have often become attractions for the audience of enthusiasts who attend the WHITE event and its “after show” edition after edition.

MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT

Since its inception, music has always been one of the key elements to engage and entertain visitors and exhibitors at WHITE at the end of the activities.

Some of the most exclusive performances include live performances by Madame and Marracash, DJ sets by Steve Aoki, Club to Club nights, and lively ones from the most recent collaboration with MTV Italia, which brought its talent to entertain the Village audience.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

Thanks to outstanding partners, show cooking, star-studded dinners, mixology evenings and regional food and wine tastings were organized.

The event’s official caterer, BioQitchen, supports WHITE and Village in the realization of high-level food & beverage events at the event’s main locations.

CULTURAL CONTENTS

Themes such as sustainability, digitization, technological innovation and transformation of the fashion industry and beyond were the protagonists of cultural events, talks and workshops within the WSM – White Sustainable Milano – project and at the institutional location of the Mudec Auditorium.

BEAUTY

The world of beauty is also often the protagonist of collateral activities organized during the days of the fair.

Dedicated sections, workshops, master classes, product testing and make-up lessons engage visitors in experiences dedicated to personal care and wellness.

SPECIAL PROJECTS

Countless collaborations and special projects have been carried out for important partners: from automotive to energy, from fintech to the worlds of beauty and food & beverage.
